The Rye Room is a full service recording studio owned and operated by engineer/producer Matt Greco, located in Portland, Oregon.
Serving Portland, Oregon and the Pacific Northwest, The Rye Room provides musicians with a recording experience tailored to each individual or group. Every band or artist brings unique elements into their music. Our goal is to distill these elements with care, handcrafting each record to be the best it can be.
We believe recording is about the experience. We have put a great deal of thought into design, vibe, and comfort to ensure you are able to deliver your best performance. Capturing that performance is enhanced in the right environment, which is why all rooms are tuned and custom wired for exceptional acoustics.

Virtual Studio Tour
* All packages are limited to a certain number of days or hours. Extra time will be billed at normal hourly rate. Call if you have any questions about packages.

Audiobook Recording and Post-Production
With a combined twenty-five years of audio and publishing experience, the Rye Room is Portland’s leading, full service studio for high quality Audiobook and VoiceOver projects. As a full service production studio, we offer premium recording, editing, mixing/mastering, and QC/proofing services for publishers, independent authors, indie presses, creators, and podcasts. A decadent leather couch and premium whiskey selection may just transport your performer to a library with the literary greats. Meanwhile, high end microphones and boutique preamps compliment our silent isolation room to capture the best quality of your voice. Our outstanding team and unique space offer an exceptional recording experience to ensure the audio encapsulates the quality and creativity of your words.
